Verizon’s LG Chocolate Touch is one of the most loved cheap cell phones back in 2009. This beautifully designed mobile phone that was featured by Cellular Country comes with multimedia-riched features including a GPS system and a digital camera. If you’re an owner of this phone be it brand new or used cell phones, it would be great to know more about the Chocolate.
The LG Chocolate’s battery when completely charged offers up to 470 hours or 19 days power (if standby) and up to 5 hours of talk time. Like any other devices, this cheap phone's battery can be recharged through a car power adapter or a standard AC adapter. Maximizing the battery life is simple. All you have to do is to lessen the display brightness and decrease the sleep mode timer. The battery should be properly charged to make it work.
The phone is equipped with 1 GB as internal memory, but could be enhanced by using the phone's Secure Digital card slot. An SD memory card of up to 16 GB can be added to its usual memory. With expanded memory, you will be able to maximize your phone’s potential by adding more videos, mp3 and mobile games.
Equipped with a 3.2 MP digital camera that captures still images at up to 2,048-by-1,536 pixels of resolution, the LG Chocolate Touch for Verizon acts like a regular digital camera requiring you to simply point and shoot. The phone's camera comes with a variety of features, including white balance control, a self timer and panoramic picture-taking capability. The Chocolate Touch supports text, photo, voice and video messages and mobile email through connections to a post office protocol (POP3) or Internet message access protocol (IMAP4) server. These connections are made through the phone's Internet connection and by adjusting its settings.
Some bluetooth wireless profiles including hands-free (HFP), headset (HSP), object push (OPP) and phone book access (PBAP) is included in the phone. The HFP profile uses the Chocolate's speakerphone to provide two-way hands-free calling, while the HSP profile does the same but through a wireless headset. The OPP profile allows you to transfer files from one Bluetooth-equipped device to another and the PBAP profile lets you share contact information with other brand new and used cell phones.
